Reiki is an ancient healing modality acknowledged by The National Center for Complementary & Integrative Health (NCCIH) as a "complementary health approach in which practitioners place their hands lightly or just above a person, with the goal of directing energy to help facilitate the persons own healing response. It is based on an eastern belief in an energy that supports the body's innate or natural healing abilities."

 How does Reiki work? Reiki practitioners channel Universal Life Force Healing Energy though their hands directing it into the person, animal, or any living being. This healing energy is intelligent and travels to wherever it is needed.

You remain fully clothed, however it is best it wear comfortable clothing and remove anything restrictive, such as belts or large pieces of metal jewelry which can interrupt the flow of energy. The average session lasts one hour and is so relaxing and therapeutic many fall asleep during treatment.
